It’s been a strange winter season with ongoing rain, warm days, and a late season snow storm. Still, we hope you’ve enjoyed outdoor adventures, time with loved ones, and peace and quiet. As important as it is to look ahead, we also value a look back to see the accomplishments and challenges of the past year. We’re proud to present our second annual report, highlighting the 2023 calendar year and offering transparency into the organization and our impact on outdoor recreation in Vermont.
We’re thrilled to know that we’ve helped increase access to trails and huts last year by improving and building adaptable trail sections, offering free guided trips into the backcountry for underserved youth and hisotrically marginalized communities, and brought two new partner huts into the network. We are excited to continue to work with our partners, members, volunteers, supporters, and guests to fulfill our mission to foster a deeper appreciation of our natural environment and strengthen Vermont’s communities by providing enriching and immersive outdoor experiences for all.
