Located on the Lake Champlain waterfront and immersed in 130 acres of conserved, scenic wilderness—yet just two, convenient miles from downtown Burlington—the Rock Point Cabins offer four, separate accommodations (the Weeks Cabin, Butterfield Cabin, Bliss Cabin, and Van Dyck Cabin) to enjoy all that the area has to offer.

Note: Rock Point Cabins are only available to rent during the Spring and Fall.

Available for rent during the Spring and Fall. Your reservation grants you exclusive use of your cabin for you and your group. The price will not change based on group size. Each cabin sleeps 6 guests in bunk beds.

The Rock Point Cabins are easily accessible via car, bike, or public transportation. Parking is available just a few steps away from the cabins, Green Mountain Transit will drop you off about 1 mile away, and the Burlington Greenway Bike Path travels right through the Rock Point Commons property.

There are endless of outdoor activities and recreation near the Rock Point Cabins.

Check-in/Out Times: Check-in anytime after 3:00 PM on your arrival date. Check-out no later than 11:00 AM on your departure date.

Hut Security Code: You will receive a separate email with the hut’s access code once you have made your reservation.

Heat: All cabins are equipped with electric space heaters during colder periods. The Weeks and Bliss cabins feature wood stoves. Any guest who uses the wood stove must be proficient with safe use of wood stoves. 

Electricity: The cabins are connected to electricity and have lights plus outlets for charging devices, as well as standard kitchen appliances.

Cooking: Each cabin includes a kitchenette with hot plate, microwave, toaster oven, electric kettle, and French press. Basic pots, pans, utensils, and other dishware for up to six people are provided.

Trash: There will be trash cans in the cabins for guests to use. Guests are expected to leave no trace in the cabin and pack out all food and trash and bring to the larger trash, compost, and recycling bins in a shared cabin adjacent to the individual lodging cabins. Please leave the cabin nicer than when you found it!

Sleeping: Each cabin sleeps up to six guests in bunk beds, and there are camping mattresses provided on each bunk. There is no need to bring a camping pad, though you should bring your sleeping bag or blanket(s). There are no linens or pillows provided.

Water: Each cabin has a sink with potable water. 

Bathroom: Each cabin has a bathroom with shower, sink, and toilets. 

Phone and Internet: There is no phone on site, and cell coverage is spotty. However, the cabins have wireless internet.

Cancellations: Reservations canceled 15 days or more in advance will receive a 50% refund. Reservations canceled 14 days or less in advance are non-refundable.

Pets: Dogs are allowed with an additional fee of $25.00 to cover cleaning costs.  As per Rock Point’s trail use guidelines, dogs must be on a leash at all times. Always clean up after your animals.
